Hola! 😊 My name is Melie and I teach Spanish in nurseries, primary schools and online. 

Before March 2020, all our classes used to be face-to-face, but since Covid-19 and the first lockdown started, we moved straight away all our classes online to ensure, that our pupils could continue with their lessons and they could have some of their normal routine unchanged, just like before.

Since then, our online classes have been so popular, that we have mainly remained online; we still have classes in some schools at lunchtime and/or after school, but most of our after school classes are online.

I also teach adults on individual or group lessons. And I help students who are preparing for their Spanish GCSE and A Level exams.

I'm from Barcelona and I've been living and working in UK since 2001, when I moved here to be close to my now husband. We have two beautiful daughters, Kiera who is 15 years old and Arabella who is 9 year old.

Inspirational Languages uses La Jolie Ronde methodology for our children lessons. From babies to 12-14 years old.

If you don't know yet La Jolie Ronde, they have an amazing methodology, it's based in stories, songs, rhymes, games, role play... the children basically learn without realising, as they think they're just playing and having fun. And they always, look forward to their next lesson.

With La Jolie Ronde methodology, children can start learning Spanish at any age or stage, they don't need to start at the beginning of the school year, or the beginning of the term, they can join in at any time.

I have always been passionate about languages and having previously worked with children and experienced how rewarding it can be, I would relish the opportunity to be able to inspire, encourage and stimulate the children to learn Spanish and provide them with the progression and confidence to enjoy speaking and understanding Spanish.

I am a native Spanish speaker, DBS checked and have seen for myself how quickly young children can pick up a foreign language, and how much they enjoy it!
